Workbook data

XilMind processes workbook selections inside the Excel add-in experience to provide cleaning, reconciliation, dashboard, formula, and rule-building workflows.

AI processing

XilMind uses a local-first approach. When an AI-powered feature is needed, limited workbook context relevant to the request may be sent through XilMind's Cloudflare-hosted AI gateway to the configured AI provider to generate the requested result. XilMind is designed to avoid sending an entire workbook when smaller context is sufficient.

Local processing

Where possible, calculations and transformations are performed in the add-in runtime and written back to the active workbook through Office.js APIs.

Payments and subscriptions

XilMind uses Paddle as merchant of record for subscription checkout and billing. XilMind does not receive or store full payment-card details. Subscription and entitlement information may be processed so the website and Excel add-in can determine access to paid features.
